The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), High Commission of India, Colombo, will be organizing an evening of Bharatha Natyam Recital by Krishalini Manimuthu on January 17 at 6pm at Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre auditorium, 16/2 Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7.
Krishalini Manimuthu completed her postgraduate in Law, and is also a trained Bharatha Natyam dancer practicing over a decade. She is a disciple of Smt. Usha Raghavan for over 10 years in London. Usha Raghavan mastered the art of Bharatanatyam under the eminent gurus Sri Adayar K Lakshmanan and Smt Kalanidhi Narayanan.
Krishalini Manimuthu has performed in various stages, including in Wembley Stadium, England, and at Annual Event BBC Young Dancer Awards, 2015. In 2015, she also gave various performances across Sri Lanka as part of a cultural tour, staging at Chavakachcheri, Nallur, Jaffna Veerasingam Hall and Ramakrishna Mission, Colombo.
