At a point in time where the community of Sri Lanka shows reluctance to adapt to modern genres of music, the Senior Brass Band of Carey College prophesies the revival of the "Rendezvous of a musical charismatic apex" illustrating its significance for the 5th consecutive time.
Careyites’ ‘ConBrio’ is a music concert series which had first set its foot in the industry in 2008, an era when brass music was at a disruptive level. Continuing the legacy beyond the audience’s expectations, the Senior Brass Band of Carey College proudly presents ‘ConBrio – V’, 2020 which is to be held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) on January 20 from 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
Under the theme of ‘A combination of the past and the future’ the students are ready to mesmerize the audience with an epic musical output which consists of both classic and modern music. Those who are ready to be amazed by the performance of the displayed by the Senior Brass Band of Carey College and seven other leading school brass bands in Colombo may bare witness this event by purchasing a ticket available to you at the school or at the entrance on the event date.
