The Cabinet of ministers under the auspices of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa who chaired the meeting approved a proposal for the procurement of 400 new busses with 50-54 seating capacity and an additional 100 new busses with seating capacity between 32 to 35.
Cabinet spokesperson and Minister of Higher Education, Technology and Innovation Dr. Bandula Gunawardena told the media today that the procurement valued at USD 15.03 million was under the Indian loan grant scheme.
