According to a concept of the Commander of the Army and on the guidance of Adjutant General together with the Directorate of Rehabilitation, the Art and Craft Exhibition -2019 -‘UTTANAWEERYA’ (perseverance) in view of enhancing and admiring the skills and talents of differently able war heroes has been scheduled on 12– 13 of December 2019 at the JDA Perera Art Gallery of Colombo Aesthetic University. Purpose of this programme is to exhibit the talents of inmates of ‘ RanaviruSevana, Abhimansala 1, 2, 3 and Mihindu Seth Medura.
The inauguration ceremony will be held on 12 December 2019 at 6:30 pm and open for the public from 13 December 2019 at 9am to 8pm. The Commander of the Army will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest along with Senior Officers and special invitees. 34 Woodcraft,172 paintings,203 handcraft, 15 sculpture and 23 other exhibits created by differently able war heroes will be on display.
