Sysco LABS was honored at the SLASSCOM Innovation Awards 2019; for the restaurant technology platform CAKE. CAKE’s Unified Data Platform won 1st runner up in the ‘Best Technology or Framework Innovation’ category. CAKE’s ‘Minuteman’, a tool for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD), won 2nd runner up in the ‘Best Innovation in Internal Process’ category. The Innovation Awards celebrates and supports tech innovation and innovators in Sri Lanka by recognizing outstanding work. This year’s ceremony was on 14 November at the Shangri-La Hotel Colombo.
