Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) Leader and Minister Rauff Hakeem said the country will be prosperous and all outstanding problems of Pottuvil residents will be resolved if Sajith Premadasa elected the President.
He was addressing a National Democratic Front (NDF) rally in Pottuvil recently in support of the NDF Presidential Candidate Sajith Premadasa.
Ministers Rishad Bathiudeen and Daya Gamage, Deputy Minister Faizal Cassim, Parliamentarian A.L.M.Nazeer, Former MP M.A.Abdul Majeed and many others were present.
Minister Rauff Hakeem said Sajith Premedasa understands the pulse of the people as he is familiar with the downtrodden masses and their problems.
He said the government has already taken measures to resolve their issues.
The drinking water issue of the area will be resolved once Sajith becomes the President. Tourism destinations in the area will receive facelifts, Hakeem said.
Sajith Premadasa must be brought into power to give redress to the poor of the country. The law of the country is foremost and Sajith will keep the law above all else since that paves the way for a disciplined country, Hakeem said.
