Two Ministerial Security Division (MSD) constables attached to MP S. B. Dissanayake’s security detail, arrested in connection with Wednesday’s shooting incident in Polpitiya, Ginigathhena, were remanded until November 11 by the Hatton district courts yesterday.
The two security personnel had allegedly opened fire at some individuals for obstructing the vehicle that MP Dissanayake was travelling on Wednesday night.
The court ordered to produce the Police constables for an identification parade on Monday.
