Several government ministers stepped down from their posts following the victory claimed by the President-elect Gotabaya Rajapaksha in the Presidential Election 2020.
Among the ministers who stepped down from their posts were UNP MPs Harin Fernando, Mangala Samaraweera and Ajith P. Perera.
