Police raided a Facebook party at a beach hotel in Dehiwala on Saturday night and arrested 100 persons, including 17 women with drugs. They were arrested for possession of 4g of Cannabis (Kerala Ganja) and illegal cigarettes. According to the police, 83 of the arrested suspects were males.
The arrested suspects aged between 18 and 48 are residents of Ambalangoda, Kalutara, Kurunegala and Polonnaruwa.
They were to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
