70 percent of the construction of the Palali Airport has already been completed, said the Transport and Civil Aviation Minister Arjuna Ranatunga.
The Palali airport is now being upgraded to be Sri Lanka’s third international airport after Colombo and Mattala. Flight operations from the Palali airport will commence from October 16 , the minister said.
