Obtaining the ownership of the domain name www.ceylontea.com is an important milestone that the Sri Lanka Tea Board achieved recently prior to this domain name www.ceylontea.com was fully owned by the multinational giant Lotte Group of Companies from South Korea.

Therefore Sri Lanka Tea Board together with the Sri Lanka Embassy in South Korea successfully negotiated with the Lotte Group to take over the ownership of the domain www.ceylontea.com to the Sri Lanka Tea Board at no cost.
SLTB chairman & Lotte chairman signed a MoU to hand over the domain name www.ceylontea.com to SLTB at lotte Head Office Seoul, South Korea on 09th August 2019.
