A SLTB bus and a van collided on Dambulla-Habarana road this morning at 6.00 am.
The accident had occurred when a SLTB bus heading from Trincomalee to Colombo collided with a van heading in the opposite direction, the police spokesman's office said.
At least 22 passengers including the van driver and the bus driver were injured and admitted to the Dambulla General Hospital.
Sigiriya police are conducting further investigations.
