Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is not a challenge for the United National Party Presidential candidate”, State Minister Wasantha Aluvihare said.
Aluvihare said the victory of the UNP Presidential candidate at the forthcoming election is a forgone conclusion.
The State Minister also spoke of his 30 year political career in the district at this press conference.
“The Working Committee will nominate the right candidate at the right time. No force can defeat the candidate fielded by the UNP at the forthcoming Presidential poll,” Aluvihare said.
He said that his party will not field a common candidate at this election.
