Eight were injured in a van accident in Moratuwa this morning, the Police Spokesman's said.
The accident occurred at Katubedda junction on the Colombo-route.
A van heading towards Colombo had collided with another van heading towards Piliyandala.
One van crashed into a restaurant near the road causing severe damage to the restaurant.
Two van drivers and six others were injured in the accident and taken to Kalubowila and Panadura hospitals. A customer and several employees of the restaurant were also among the injured.
Moratuwa Police are conducting further investigations.
