Three suspects who raped a 14-year-old schoolgirl were reproduced before Dambulla Magistrate’s Court last week.
They were in remand custody.
Another suspect of the case surrendered to court through a lawyer on the day.
Police told court another suspect is following an army training course.
The girl’s grandfather is also among the suspects.
Magistrate I.M.S.B.Illangasingha released the three suspects on a Rs.10,000 cash bail with two surety bonds, each Rs.500,000. The suspect who surrendered was remanded until June19. The case was postponed.
The suspects are residents of Dambagolla, Galewela.
Galewela police prosecuted.
