Three persons apprehended with 60 grams of ICE (Crystal Methamphetamine) during a raid carried out in Urumalai area-Mannar by Navy, yesterday.
Accordingly, a group of naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command, arrested these persons for possessing drug ICE, during a search conducted at Urumalai beach area in Mannar. A dinghy and few fishing gears used by them have also been recovered. The arrested persons are residents of Thalaimannar, aged 22, 26 and 27.
The arrested persons along with drugs were handed over to Thalaimannar Police for onward investigation.
