Galle Harbor Police acting on tip-off took into custody a foreigner residing in the country without valid visa and violating the immigration and emigration laws.
The suspect taken into custody was a 44-year-old Chinese.
He was produced before the Galle Magistrate Court yesterday and Galle Harbor Police are continuing investigations.
