A dead body was found in a two storied house at Bloumendhal Road in Kotahena Police Division this morning.
It has been revealed that the victim was identified as a retired Tamil doctor aged 67 years and lived in the house alone.
Police suspect that the doctor may have been killed by a robber who had entered the house.
Kotahena Police are conducting further investigations.
