Air Force to use Helicopters to identify riots

Air Force Spokesman Gihan Seneviratne said that there are a number of security measures being implemented by the Sri Lanka Air Force to ensure the safety and security of the public.

He said that Helicopters will be deployed around the clock to monitor riots and acts of violence.

The air force personnel have deployed forces to ensure the safety of the children in schools in the Colombo, Katunayake and Ratmalana areas and Palaviya, Sigiriya, Morawewa, Mirigama and Diyatalawa sub-divisions.
