Panadura South Police Child and Women’s Affairs Bureau officials arrested a young woman and her mother in connection with abandoning a day-old infant by the side of the Galle Road in Wanduramulla, in 2017.
They were produced before Panadura Chief Magistrate Amila Ariyasena on Tuesday and personal bail of Rs. 500,000 with a surety was granted.
