A fire broke out at around 3.00 am today at a four storey building in Pannipitiya, Maharagama.
The Dehiwala Police, fire brigades of the Kotte Municipal Council and residents in the area managed to douse the fire.
The Police Headquarters said, that the building was completely destroyed due to the fire.
The cause of the fire is yet to be uncovered.
Maharagama police are conducting further investigations.
