Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle, Matara and Kaluthara districts after 2.00p.m, said the Department of Meteorology.
Several spells of showers will occur in Uva province and in Hambantota district.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. .
General public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
