The 91st Academy Awards concluded in Los Angeles on recently with Rami Malek winning the Best Actor award for his stunning performance as Freddie Mercury in ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. The film also won the awards for the Best Sound and Editing.
The Best Animated Feature Film award went to ‘Spider-Man : Into The Spider-verse’. Both films were released in Sri Lanka by the MPI Film Circuit in conjunction with Skyline.
“Both films have been box office hits. We are proud to release some of the best foreign films in the world into the Sri Lankan market. We hope to give the best of the best for the local film enthusiasts,” MPI Film Circuit Director Dr. Arosha Fernando said.
