The five suspects who were arrested with over 95kg of heroin in Kollupitiya, were ordered to be remanded till March 29 by Colombo fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake.
The five suspects including two Americans and an Afghan were arrested on January 22 at a luxury apartment complex in Kollupitiya after having 95.88 kgs of heroin worth more than Rs.1, 140 million in their possession.
On the previous occasion, President's Counsel Anura Maddegoda appearing on behalf of the second suspect pleaded to issue an order directing the PNB to obtain CCTV footage in the appartment.
