A woman who was alleged in frauding money by giving foreign employment has been arrested at Meemana Premathilaka Mawatha in Horana.
The suspect has been arrested on a raid carried out on information received by the officers of the Panadura divisional law enforcement unit.
The police media, said that the police had seized Rs. 2,950,000 and 40 passports to claim the jobs in New Zealand.
The suspect is a 69-year-old resident of Pokununita, Horana.
She is due to be produced before the Horana Magistrate Court today.
Horana Police is conducting further investigations.
