The Management Faculty of Sri Jayawardhanepura University has been closed temporarily until further notice following a ragging incident.
The university administration has taken measures to close the Management Faculty temporarily as it was reported that several juniors of the faculty were depressed due to ragging.
Vice Chancellor Prof.Sampath Amarathunga said the university administration has advised seniors against ragging after receiving several complaints.
The University administration was compelled to close the Management Faculty since several seniors have engaged in ragging despite warnings not to do so.
