MP Dayasiri Jayasekara assumed duty as the new General Secretary of Sri Lanka Freedom Party today at the SLFP headquarters with chanting of seth pirith by the Maha Sangha.
President Maithripala Sirisena and Chairman of SLFP, visited the SLFP headquarters this morning to congratulate the new Secretary General speaking.
The letter of appointment was presented by the President to Dayasiri Jayasekara.
