A 30-year-old man was injured following a shooting incident at Polwatta in Weligama. The injured man was admitted to the Matara General Hospital.
The victim had been riding a motorbike when two unidentified persons had arrived on a motorbike and opened fire at him. Weligama Police are investigating.
