On information received by the Navy, a troop of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command, recovered a number of banned fishing nets during a raid carried out around Kokilai lagoon, yesterday.
Accordingly, an illegal Nylon net about 150 m in length was recovered and it was handed over to Kuchchaweli Police for onward legal action.
