Three have been arrested in a hoard of counterfeit notes at Horowpathana.
The police said,that the counterfeit stock was found in the possession of three persons who had been traveling in a suspicious three-wheeler last night.
Suspect had 95 fake notes of rs.1000 and 16 fake notes of Rs. 5000 in possession and police has took over the fake notes from the suspects.
The suspects are identified as residents of Viharamagama and Mahadivulwewa who are 29-years-old.
The suspects are to be produced before the Kebithigolleawa Magistrate's Court today.
The Horowpathana police are conducting further investigations.
