The Mount Lavinia Magistrate Mohomed Mihal yesterday sent a reminder to the Attorney General with regard to the case filed against Daisy Forest, grandmother of Yoshitha Rajapaksa.
This is over the purchase of a land worth Rs.36 million in Mihindu Mawatha, Dehiwala.
The land which was owned by Ms.Wickramasinghe and valued at Rs.34 million had been purchased by Yoshitha Rajapaksa for Rs.24 million.
The Police Financial Crime Investigation Division informed Court that they had concluded the investigation into the incident.
The FCID filed this case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.They are currently out of bail.The case will be called on May 29.
