The bodies of two police constables who were on duty at a check point in the Vavunathivu, Batticaloa found near the roadblock.
Police Media Spokesman's Office said that the bodies were found at around 6.00 am today.
The Inspector General of Police has ordered an investigation into the suspicious deaths. Police Superintendent in charge of Batticaloa Police division is heading the investigation.
