Newly appointed Defence State Minister Lakshman Seneviratne assumed duties at his ministry yesterday. The State Minister signed an official document amidst the chanting of pirith by the Maha Sangha.
Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and Ministry Secretary Sunil Samaraweera were present. State Minister Seneviratne sworn in before the President at the Presidential Secretariat on Tuesday.
