Police have commenced investigations into the incident where robbers had broken into a state bank in Moragahahena and stolen two firearms on Saturday (6) night.
The robbers had entered the Moragahahena state bank branch at night and stolen two fire arms kept there.
However, it is reported that the robbers had failed to steal money from the bank as they were unable to break into the bank vaults. These firearms had been kept for the safety of the bank but, no security officer was stationed when the incident happened, it is reported.
The suspects are yet unknown and investigations are conducted by the Morgahahena police.
