President, PM discuss future programmes with UPFA MPs

All UPFA Parliamentarians met for a group meeting under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena and the participation of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat on October 27 morning and discussed the future programme of work of the new government.

The Parliamentarians unanimously approved a resolution to extend their unstinted support and Co-operation to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in his future activities.A motion tabled by Parliamentarian Mahinda Amaraweera was seconded by MP Duminda Dissanayake.

UNP Parliamentarian Ananda Aulthgamage, CWC leader Armungan Thondaman ,EPDP Leader Douglas Devananda and several other party leaders who were also present on the occasion expressed their support to the new government in their activities.

President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa presiding over the UPFA group meeting held at the Presidential Secretariat on October 27.
