The Harispattuwa Urban Council’s (UC’s) services has been crippled due to a shortage of staff, a councillor said.
He added that the council lacked 14 drivers, nine sanitary workers, and four labourers.
The urban council’s activities in 84 Grama Niladhari divisions had been disrupted due to the issue, the councillor said.
