The annual blood donation campaign jointly organised by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Alumni Association and the Wellawatte West Lions Club, will be held on Saturday, from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm at the National Blood Centre at Narahenpita.
This annual social service project, organised by JICA Alumni Association members who have returned after receiving training in various fields through scholarships as well as Wellawatte West Lions Club members, will be held for the 18th consecutive year. Lions District 302 A Governor Lion Udaya Jayasuriya, Japanese Embassy Deputy Head of Mission Toshihiro Kitamura and JICA's Resident Representative in Sri Lanka Fusako Tanaka will participate in the event.
