A ticketing agency owner who allegedly defrauded the Attorney General’s Department of over Rs.400,000 was remanded yesterday until July 16.
The suspect is alleged to have defrauded the said amount when the AG’s Department purchased an air ticket to the United States of America, for an official tour of Additional Solicitor General Dilrukshi Dias Wickremesinghe.
