09 categories for 09 industries and 57 winners. This is the SLT Zero One Awards. In case you’re lost, the Zero One Awards is an initiative that was launched by SLT in 2016. The aims of this initiative are to recognize excellence amongst the everything digital in Sri Lanka. And this year it will return to recognize the best digital initiatives of 2017.
As with the inaugural edition, the awards will recognize digital initiatives across nine different industries. These industries include Finance, IT, Travel & Leisure, Media, Health Care, Retail, and many more. Across these industries, there are six categories that companies can apply for.

These categories include Best Digital Media Agency, Best Website or Microsite, Best Use of Mobile, and more which you can find by clicking here. Furthermore, going through the categories, you’ll find that the SLT Zero One Awards aren’t solely aimed at companies as there are three awards aimed at recognizing individuals.
And in its inaugural edition, there were some big names amongst the winners in these categories. We saw Extreme SEO take the award for Best Digital Media Agency in the Media & Publishing sector. Similarly, Loops Solutions won the award for Best Digital-Integrated Campaign in the Retail Sector.

Another example is Sampath Bank, which won the award for Best Digital-Enabled Product/Service in the Financial Sector. Other winners include WSO2, LAUGFS Holdings Ltd, Nations Trust Bank, and many more. So if you were wondering why you should apply for the SLT Zero One awards, here’s your answer. It’s a chance to be recognized amongst the biggest names in the industry.
So how does one apply for the SLT Zero One Awards? The awards are open to all Sri Lankan companies, organizations, and individuals.
