Three persons were arrested for murder, in Athurugiriya, on Saturday. The suspects were arrested for the alleged murder of a woman in Kottawa on November 30, 2017. The Mirihana Police Special Crime Division had arrested the suspects after conducting an extensive investigation. The van used for the crime was also taken into custody.
The suspects are residents of Athurugiriya and are scheduled to be produced before the Homagama Magistrate.
