Second rugby player’s body handed over

Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne yesterday, ordered to hand over the body of the second British rugby player, Thomas Andrew Howards who died in Colombo, to their parents.

His body will be dispatched to England through the British High Commission.

The Magistrate ordered the police to produce in court, the postmortem reports pertaining to the death of the two rugby players. The two rugby players Thomas Baty (26) and Thomas Andrew Howard (25) were part of a team who had come for a rugby tournament in Sri Lanka.They died in the room of the hotel while he was working on last Sunday (12).
