The renovated statue of the Minneriya Deity at the the Minneriya Wewa Devalaya was unveiled by President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (May 6) morning. The renovation work, funded by Air Force Commander Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy, was completed with the labour contribution of the men attached to the Hingurakgoda Air Force Camp.
