Nine jumbos relocated to Maduru Oya National Park

Nine jumbos that were raised at the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, were relocated to the Maduru Oya National Park, transit home Assistant Director General Manjula Amararatna said recently.

The said elephants were calves who had been separated from their mothers at the time they were discovered and were brought up at the home for a period of four years.
