There were 339 complaints of violations of election laws made before the Elections Secretariat(ES) as at yesterday morning.
The Elections Secretariat sources revealed that there were 15 complaints of election violence. The same revealed that out of them, 14 were complaints of threats, while one was of assault.
The sources revealed that out of the incidents of violations of election laws 121 were incidents of distributing various material among the voters, while 78 were incidents of cutting down posters and banners exhibited in support of the contestants.
