Two 18-year-old boys were killed as the motorcycle they were travelling on collided with a private bus at Ganemulla on Sunday night. Police said the rider had lost control and collided with the bus near the Amara Rajamaha Viharaya at the Kossinna–Amunugoda road in Ganemulla.
The two boys were pronounced dead on admission to the Gampaha Hospital, police said.
The deceased were identified as Dileepa Nayanajith and Lakshan Weerasinghe, residents of Ihala Biyanwila, Kadawatha. Police arrested the bus driver. Investigations are continuing.
