Rasaluxmi Kalaivani (36), a mother of two of Thuraineelavanai in the Kaluwanchikudy Police area died of lightning yesterday (19).
The woman was cooking in the kitchen while her son was watching TV when lightning struck the TV. The son shouted out and the mother was electrocuted when she came to help him.
The son escaped, while the mother succumbed to her injuries.
