Mosquito breeders fined

Two men found guilty of maintaining mosquito breeding sites at their residences were imposed a fine of Rs. 2,000 by Deiyandara Magistrate and Additional District Judge H. U. K. Pelpola.

According to public health officials, the accused are residents of Hakmana.

Public health inspectors attached to the office of the Hakmana Divisional Medical Officer for Health, made these detections and prosecuted at the Deiyandara Magistrate’s Court.
