Litro Gas Chairman Shalila Moonasinghe who was arrested on charges of transferring USD 1.1 million to his personal bank account from a Taiwanese Bank named Far East National Bank, was remanded till tomorrow.
He was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) yesterday.
Taiwan's Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) said yesterday that arrangements have been made to deploy investigators to Sri Lanka to conduct investigations on suspects accused of helping hackers to steal millions of US dollars from the Taiwanese bank.
