The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) issued landslide warnings to Ratnapura, Kegalle and Kalutara districts as the rainfall during last 24 hours exceeded 150mm.
Residents of Ayagama, Rathnapura, Eheliyagoda, Kuruwita, Pelmadulla, Elapatha, Dehiowita and Bulathsinhala are requested to evacuate to safer places to avoid the risk of landslides.
