Five accused over a murder in Pallegama in September 1995, were sentenced to death by Kegalle High Court Judge Dhammika Ganepola yesterday.
One of the suspects involved in the incident is absconding. The Judge ordered to carry out the sentence against the missing suspect after his arrest. Four of the accused are from Pallegama area and one is from Attanagoda.
They had been charged with murdering Sirimal Bandara.
